CACTUS 10 Dryer.
I'm considering a CACTUS 10 throat mounted dryer for a 940A LEXAN application. Throughput will be about 12 pounds per hour. The LEXAN is virgin prime pre-colored white, almond or black. I'm in Massachusetts, we have hot humid days in the summer.
Does anyone have experience with type of dryer? Are color changes easy? Are you happy with it?
Thanks,
Elmer

Re: CACTUS 10 Dryer.
Hello Elmer,
I have heard that they are good. I do not have first hand experience with them.
The best way to to tell them that you want to try it out for a month. They will give you a loaner unit. Test it out and also let us know.

Suhas

Re: CACTUS 10 Dryer.
I haven't used that one. I have used a Conair microdryer that sat on the feed throat. It worked well and saved some floor space. The only issue was it did cause an issue with the slide we had on the machine to clean out the hopper (now dryer). We just changed the way it was mounted and how we drained it.
