    Color woes ....

On Saturday we went through & organized our "color room". In the 1990's we went to exclusively color concentrates.
Since then we have collected " a ton" of obsolete colorants, not to mention the dry colors that go back to the '70's.
What is the best way to dispose of these??

Do you have MSDS Sheets on them?

Maybe for some of the old colors & from the larger manufacturers.
Most come from a small local supplier that does not provide them.

Land Fill could be a problem if heavy metals are present. Are you in California perchance?

    I'm in New York.
I do not want to go the landfill route.
At one point I was handling an auction for the SPE NY Section. Donations to benefit our scholarship fund. I had someone who wanted to donate a 40' container of various color concentrates. We declined.
Every molder collects obsolete colors. There must be some responsible way to dispose of them.
