    Need critique on parts images

A friend has machined my molds, very pleased.

His Molding problem- attached images of parts are mottled and corrupted, somehow.
    Sub-structure showing through to surface?

Looks like the ribs on the backside of the part are too thick and are showing through on the other side of the wall.

What is the nominal wall thickness? What is the Rib thickness?

Agreed with the above reply. Also, can you pack out a little more, what are the gate sizes?

Looks like poor colorant dispersion to me. Difficult to troubleshoot without knowing a lot more detail.

I also wonder what grain was added to mold and method used to add the grain. What’s resin and machine settings? Water may be too cold as well.

    Hi,
Seems You really have to change ribs.

    1. Wall thickness of the ribs have to be lower (better ratio)
    2. Change design and count of the ribs
    3. Avoid crosses of the ribs (thick wall)
    4. Check your colour mixing

after this You can play with parameters.
