Was wondering if anyone had used the Beryllium Copper Nozzle tips, and what applications they found good use for.

    thx - Joel

I've used them for PA resins w/o glass to help stop nozzle freeze off. They work great for that but too soft for other uses.

I used them on some molds we were having issues with freezing off. Worked great, but smaller tonnage machines so maybe that is why we didn't have the same issues.

    Hello,

for me this type of nozzle tips was to soft for PA 6.6 GF 30. After 3000-4000 shots maximum tips are "sanded off" and dimensions are smaller (tip is far from gate). I think they are not good choise for abrasive materials.
