Oil Heater: Recommendations needed
I have been looking around at buying a new oil heater and just wanted to get recommendations on a good one. We have an Advantage oil heater right now and it runs good, but we want to be able to start the mold heating before we get here. Conair has one with an auto start option and a low oil level shutoff which the Advantage doesn't have. Any other ones you guys would suggest?

Conair is my go to brand. Get one with an alarm bell versus piezoelectric buzzer so you can hear it plus add oil evacuation from the tool. Plus the new synthetic hot oils are light years above what we first started with. Depends on press but you may be able to interface them to the machine as well.

Thanks everyone. I went with the Conair.
Rick, I haven't used the synthetic oils yet. Any suggestions on which one? Unfortunately no SPI connection on the machine, but I can tie some of it into the machine with some inputs and outputs they have on it so I will be doing that.

I remember we got the one Conair recommended for us. It was amazing compared to the old crap with loose carbon in it!!

Rick, Is that the Paratherm NF that they suggested in the manual? Looks like on Paratherm's website they have several grades. Do you know which grade you guys used.

I think the NF is what we used. Exactly whatever they recommended. Again it's still WAY better than the old stuff.
