    Re: Dry cycle time

    Hello Sunny,
Often, to understand how the mold functions during open close or how the machine functions without the injection of plastic, the mold is cycled in the automatic mode without the injection of the plastic. The mold is closed, the nozzle (me be) moved to touch the mold, the mold is opened, ejection is actuated, the mold is closed. This is done over several cycles to see the function of the mold and/or the machine.
This is called as dry cycle.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks,
    Suhas
