    short shots and gas marks(splay)

    Hi everyone..
Ive been an injection molding tech for 2 years. Ive read a couple of threads on here and it seems like yall are way more advanced than the company i work for.. we basically have to figure everything out with theiry and guessing. any the problem i am having id a small short shot on a tab at the end of the part. If i fix the short shot i get gas marks. Fix gas marks i get short shots... monday when i go back to work i can take pics of the machine, process, material. Whatever is needed. I can not really gove specs on the machine because they have not been given and honestly i dont think they kno either. Thanks in advance

    hi:
Looks like your mold doesn't have enough ventilation on the short shot area, please review it and add more vents on this area, temporary you could reduce the injection speed at the stage belong to this particular section to reduce the burn, you could increase melt temp to help to fill the short area, but the key point its to add a good ventilations,

    best regards
