Shall we mix 8 - 10% of LLDPE (MFI-4) in the HDPE (MFI-8) in the Injection Process?
Hi,
Good day to all!!!
Is there any blending literature for the blending of 4 MFI LLDPE roto grade into the 8 MFI injection grade HDPE??
Incorporating the LLDPE in the HDPE for the better impact and flexibility in the Injection Molded Products.
Looking the valuable technical advice. Whether is it feasible??
Thanks,
R. Narendran

I've blended small percentages of HDPE into PP homopolymer to get better impact properties. If I remember it was 0.25%. Try it at different levels, won't hurt anything. Please report back your results!

I think PE with PE is OK. However as Brent says PE + PP is questionable.
By the way Brent, I thought your answer was going to be 'Yes, you may'
