    shrinkage factor for PBT

    Hi
    I Try to get the shrinkage factor for PBT DURANEx 200K,, unfortunatly I can get it,,, I appreciate if some share this information ,, I can see many data sheet on line , but this item its not shows,,,

    Hi Josue,
    The best thing is to go after the company supplying the resin. They have to give that you. (If not you need to find a new supplier - )
    Also try on IDES.

    I try IDES , but doesnt show the Shrinkage, any way I already receive the answer from resin supplier, they also dont haveit like the std "technical data sheet",, so they anwer by email only as follow




    3mm of tickness
    0.022 - 0.019 in/in = 2.2% - 1.9% (from 50 to 70 MPa)

    But if your product has thicker thickness, I would like to recommend as below.
    0.022 - 0.017 in/in = 2.2% - 1.7% (from 50 to 70 MPa)

    Good, depending on your part size be conservative on the numbers.
