    Hi,

I am looking for Information about, cons and pro for Chemical and Physical Foam Injection molding Technology. I know the different but have no information what are the criteria to select which ( chem or Phys. )

As well what, what are the guidelines related to building the Injection tools, like steel quality, surface treatment needed etc.

any Information related to this technology will be appreciated

Questions( what are you looking for?):

    Lighter parts
    Stronger parts
    Warp reduction
    Reduced resin usage
    Quicker cycles
    What resins are envisioned

Contact Clariant Masterbatch as they are one of the biggest CFA suppliers. There are certain upgrades that the press should get but if you're just trying to foam out sinks you could make a standard press work with some experience and a gravimetric blender.
