Water Flow through the mold Checks

Do you check your water flows through the mold with a flow meter every time you startup? What is the most efficient method?

We check and record the water flow during the mold qualification process including validation runs. Once the mold is released to production it is not being motitored unless a problem arises that the water flow is in question. We also map out cavity/core actual temperatures to use later on for comparison, part of the troubleshooting steps.
