Terlux question
I was wondering if anyone has any experience with Terlux. I was asked what the best hot tip
design is to use with this material. It is hard to find any info for this. Thanks.

Re: Terlux question
I've ran their clear abs years ago for a pay phone coin chute. It ran well and didn't seem to be too shear sensitive. Now for the bad news: that was a cold runner mold. So I've never shot any from a hot runner.

Re: Terlux question
We used PLASTHING from Italy. Parts were for a large OEM that made writing instruments. The mold had a sprue bushing that required a "dipping" nozzle on the press that fit into the bushing.
I really liked the hot runner/manifold!

Re: Terlux question
Terlux, is a methyl methacrylate / ABS. We found it a bit tricky. I seem to remember it getting rubbery, if over heated in any way.
