    Charging time deviation!

    Hello everyone,

    I have an issue when machine charging material, the charging time is fluctuated a lot.

    Does anyone here face this problem and tell me what is the reason of this?

    below is injection information:
    - Materials: PC + Glass 15%

    Hello Rob,
    It could be one of the following:
    1. Your back zone temperatures are too low or too high both of which is making the pellets and/or the plastic slip.
    2. The back pressure is again too high or too low.
    3. The screw speed is tooo high.
    Is the cushion remaining constant?

    I see, that the cushion is also not stable. May be stupid idea, but please check also if the material way is not blocked, baked bulk of material in throat (jumping on the screw), magnet in hopper in "bad" position etc. Please check also the screw through throat, if is clean...
