Nozzle Leakage
Have a mold that is leaking at 18K injection pressure. Have proven that it is not the nozzle carriage moving. Had the nozzle seat recut and using new tip with no luck.
The mold is a transfer mold, but not really old. Question I have is might I have better luck with a 3/4" radius? I'm running out of ideas.

Re: Nozzle Leakage
What material?
What nozzle size and what is the sprue opening?
Assuming you checked the nozzle for damage and alignment?
If the carriage isn't moving back at all and the nozzle seat and nozzle tip are in good condition and alignment, what do you think the cause of the leak is?

Re: Nozzle Leakage
Hi Joe
did you confirm mold sprue and mach nozzle alignment?
some times a micro fracture could be the cause
by other side, carefully check that injection unit its not retracting during the injection

Hi Joe,
What did you find out here? Just curious.
