    PVC Material problem

    Hi can anyone help.
We are running a job where most of the time everything is fine, but every now and then we have big processing issues. We've spoken to the material supplier and both believe it's down to the amount of calcium that they add to stop the material from clumping together, some sacks contain more than others as they don't accurately measure their dosage. Our hopper loaders remove some of the calcium but the filters gets blocked very quickly, need regular cleaning and can't remove it all.

Is there a way, or device that will remove this calcium which is almost like dust from the material?

I would suggest a DeDuster system.

Thanks, trying to get one from the UK is a bit difficult but I'll keep looking.

look at a conair deduster-c-750 spec sheet , the concept is pretty simple you can probably retrofit a small dryer to get you by.
