    Molding Pellethane TPU Coatings used

Has anyone experience with molding TPU pellethane material. Having major issues trying to strip a core pin from the material without any deformation.
Have used a Nano coating on the pin which helps but the coating doesn't last very long before deformation starts again. Have also spark finished the pin which also helps but not enough. Could anyone suggest a coating to aid removing the pin.

I have used Bales Nibore coating on molds producing TPU parts with great results.
I used to have the mold builder achieve diamond 15 polish and then vapor hone finish prior to adding this coating.
It sounds like this "spark finish" that you are referring to has helped you already though.

Hi thanks for the recommendation for the Nibore coating. We actually used this on a different mould and different material and had great success. Had forgotten about it. Will look in coating these pins for the TPU material.

Please remember to give an update after the implementation. Thanks

Unfortunately the Nibore coating was no addition to stripping the TPU Pellethane from the core pins.. Still have an issue of the part deforming when pin is been stripped out of the part. Back to the drawing board again.
