Impossible piece from the 70s?
I have recently started studying injection molding.
The other day I came across a keyboard switch by IBM manufactured in the 70s early 80s.
How is it possible to make such a complicated housing?! 90 degree shaft, with also 90 degree cylinders. and no visible marks that I can see.
Maybe injection molding finished with some CNC? a la car engines?

Hi, I see simple product from very simple injection molding tool (open-close, no cores etc) . Tool is probably multicavity with cold runner (banana)
