    PET Bottles Clarity

    Hello,

    We have been having problems with producing small hand sanitizer PET bottles where its become impossible to achieve clarity in plain bottles (Imperial Round, bullet shape, boston round).

    There are material lumps / crystallisation in the walls. They're not visible after the bottles have been filled however the clients find these distortions in clarity unacceptable.

    We have reached out and everyone's got a different opinion. Some say the issue needs to be resolved at preform manufacturing stage while the others blame it on stretch blow and advise us to use single stage machines if we want clarity.

    I believe we can achieve clarity in two stage manufacturing however I cant seem to find a solution.

    Would appreciate input from experts.

    Greetings;

    You have ID'd the issue, "There are material lumps / crystallisation in the walls.". See the page from a PET preform troubleshooting guide.

    Hope it helps
