    Need Help Troubleshooting Defects...

    Hi All.

I'm having an issue with some ABS parts. It looks like I'm getting some gate blush and possible stress marks on these parts. Can anyone help me troubleshoot this? I've played with injection pressure, speed, and temps. The "blush" comes and goes, I'm assuming it might be not mixing well with the base ABS.

The lines around the part I can't get to go away at all. I'm assuming it's stress, but I'm not sure. This is a brand new mold from China that my customer delivered and said "here run this."

    Any thoughts? Pictures attached.

    Thanks

the Picture 1 looks like preasure mark. Probably wall thickness is ot constant in the edge.
if case of wall thickness issue is hard to fight
Please use a mould temp higher. Switchover point close to 99.999% of filling, holding pressure close to zero.
For pict 2 low injection speed in this area, the melt must be still in contact with surface.

you will see if it help….
