krauss maffei ipc sr alarm

hi everyone, we seem to be having a problem with our krauss maffei 50 ton machine. (MC4 SOFTWARE) .
everytime we try to purge the machine will alarm out with,
.check connecting cable between ipc and sr card.
.check operability of sr card.
.check operabilty of cn card.



i have checked the connections of the ipc and sr card and appear to be fine.
we can do anything with the machine until we try to purge. the alarm will come up then after a minute or so it will sort itself out.
any other advice would be greatly appreciated.

Is the alarm pop up only when you are purging?
during injection is it ok?
Carriage is in back or in forward. (please check carriage position on screen)

Please do the zero point for injection unit (in touch with tool) manuály, do not use automatic setting.

no purging it will alarm out and if we put it on automatic it will get to injection and alarm out.
so basically its carriage back and forward.

also the red l.e.d lights on the sr card in the electrical cabinet would indicate for a split second also.

Hi,
it seems like the function of purging is installed but You dont have proper hardware there or its (the cards) broken.
MC4, quite old, be glad that the machine still know how to inject

it can be a issue between BR and SR card. Please try to contact KM service for help.
