Kawaguchi K 480 B settings
Hi There,
I have a Kawaguchi K480B injection moulding machine that runs pretty well except for the recovery time being a bit slow. I understand that these machines have settings which may be able to speed up the screw, but I don't have information as to how to do this?
Does anyone have the information as to how to adjust the system parameters?
Thanks,
Howard

Have you checked the screw and barrel for wear? Had a JSW in a shop that ran slow cycles due to worn out screw.

Re: Kawaguchi K 480 B settings
Hi, thanks for the response.
The barrel and screw seem fine. There are some advanced parameters that one can set in the system settings. These seem to change the screw speed, but I would like to understand what these parameters mean?
I'm not happy to change the settings without knowing the implications.
Kawaguchi don't have any support offered.
