My name is Laszlo and I would like to ask for help to my homework. I have a school task about turn signal lever manufacturing from polymer material. It is made by injection moulding, but i couldn't find any other more specific information about the injection moulding tehnology on the Inernet.
Could anyone please be so kind and help me answering the below questions regarding turn signal manufacturing:
- How many cavities does the injection mold generally have for this part?
- Approximately, how much circle time do i have to calculate?
- Which polymer material is preferred to use for turn signal lever?( for example ABS,PC, POM)
- How much does a turn signal lever cost?
- Does gas assisted injection moulding method use for the manufacturing of this part or do it have some other methods to make the part hollow?
I suppose to a design of general car's turn signal switch . In attachment, you can find picture about a turn signal lever.
