    Post Fiber orientation.

    Dear All,
Hope you all are doing well !!

Actually, I have a doubt regarding Fiber orientation. I am using PBT GF30% material.
Apart from changing Gate location is there any other way to change the fiber orientation?

    Please do needful !!

    Thanks and regards,
    Mandar.

Fiber orientation can be affected by shear which is going to be controlled by injection speed and part thickness. I will assume you cant change part thickness either so to get more orientation you will need to fill faster, to get less orientation you will fill slower.

Only speed can save you. Or try with gb material if it is possible. I had a problem because the part was visible and on my luck customer was satisfyed with gb material. Or try with some mineral fibres...

Mold temperature can influence this as well. Hotter mold will slow the resin skinning up allowing the fiber orientation to change somewhat.
