Question On Injection Machine
Can you regular plastic machine to inject Rubber, EPDM, Neoprene or flexible PVC?
Does require rubber injection machine for those materials.

Where I work, we inject santoprene rubber everyday.

Santoprene and many other soft resins are blends of EPDM and PP. Running them is like most PP based resins. Some resins will run on thermoplastic machines if the compression ratio is not too high. Some polyurethanes are not thermoplastic and need a special screw design reverse heat profile. If really depends on resin and mold.
NOTE: PVC is very heat sensitive (shear as well). Excessive residence time or compression will force PVC to break down of give off the chlorine! If you dont know how to run it; find some local help! You can evacuate a plant in a hurry!

There are many injection molding machines. It works long according to their quality. Check quality and its type of the machines when you buy.
