Have an older Krauss Maffei machine 160-750 CX having MC5 panel? Trying to collect some data from them for using in MES system. Tried to load them through Kepware OPC through the Euromap63 protocol setting on the machine. But even after configuration of the machine parameters (machine IP and gateway - to our network) and the Master computer setup (with the FTP server), the FTP server seems to be uninitialized or not recognized. [The FTP server is in a VM in a host]. Attaching picture of the test page of the interface. (km test screen.png). Have inputted all the required parameters including the server IP, username and password having admin rights and else. Still not able to get data/generate tags in Kepware. Anyone able to provide a solution towards this or have experienced similar problems before?
P.S. Shared directory has the .REQ (session) and .JOB files placed by the OPC but not picked up by the machine.
Also, tried another option to connect the machine via TCP/IP Driver. But to observe the data i think we need to provide parameter/tags list first. Is there anyway we can obtain the entire list of parameters off of the machine?
