star automation sprue picker connector pin layout
Anybody know the pin assignments used for Star Automation XQ-V sprue pickers circa 2003? Bought a used machine wired for Star, now need to re-wire to SPI standard. Thanks!

You can always look on the internet. Here is the first one that popped up. Also there are several different Euromap/SPI standards. So just make sure what your robot is using and search for that one. I believe the difference is usually just extra connections (and a different plug) as you change the standard.

Thanks, I have the SPI one, though it's also good to have here on the forum for others' reference. What I need is the proprietary pattern Star Automation used on their XQ-600V picker. I am dealing with a used press that arrived with no drawings.

I see, I misunderstood the question. Thought you were trying to rewire the machine itself to SPI standards. I have no clue on the Star pin out. I have used them before, but they were already wired when I got there. Good luck!
