European voltage machine in US?
Anyone ever bring a European injection molding press (380-415V / 50hz) to the US (460V / 60hz) and make it work? Did you use a step-down transformer and run 400V/60hz or something? Or a VFD to actually produce 50hz? Or can they just run on 460/60 since the V/I ratio is the same?

The motor and controller should be checked to confirm that they will run 60 hertz. While the pump should spin faster at the new hertz, the controller power supply might run too low or high on the output voltage. I have seen Engels with transformers that allowed for the tap to be adjusted to output the correct voltage for mold heats and controller pls the motors were 50/60 hertz.
