I'm going to side with your boss. I would bet you a nickle that your vents are being restricted due to plate out of the virgin material.
Wireless pendant for overhead hoist froze up with the up bottom actuated. Lifted a 100 ton cinci vista all the way to the roof.
lol good luck. I asked a Van Dorn rep that same question and didnt get much in the way of intelligible answers.
We lock in our processes which kindve limits the amount of processing our...
I would just like to point out that if you are going 3-4 years without looking at your screw and barrel conditions you probably nailed it when you said those are the ones you have the most problems...
Is your fill time approaching 9 seconds? If not, why would you keep the gates open for that long?
I work with a lot of multi cavity sequential valve gates running D3 processes and they do present...
A tact temp study should have been done during process development. This will tell you the exact temp to have your rear zone set for the most efficient throughput by your equipment. If this has...
Do a rear zone tact temp study to determine the proper temp to set your rear zone at. This is often overlooked by molders. Your plastic needs to "slip" on the screw and "stick" to the barrel. After...
Gates are worn out.
Its slipping past the NRV. Pull the screw, mic the barrel and screw, and check the NRV. Also look at your decompression. There needs to be enough so that the NRV seats before the screw hits the melt.
Your question is a little too vague or perhaps Im used to different terminology here in the states. When I read "ways to improve a processing department" I think of the process itself and not the...
