    Re: Very Hot Water

It seems a bit dangerous, to keep water from boiling at 400f it needs to be close to 250psi

    Re: IMM and Robot connection

what is the make and model of the machine, do you have schematics or electrical prints?

Most likely you will need extra hardware to make it work. Maybe get a quote from the manufacture to see what...

Re: Milacron vt 110 - waiting for link fault

First, make sure to check the voltage on the motherboard test points and adjust the power supply. The boards don't like when the voltage is low.

I have only seen this error on a DVD/VEL controller...
  5. Re: Cincinnati Milacron VT-220 "Ejector not fully retracted"

maybe look at the core pull/dummy plug wiring, especially around areas that it flex when the platten move.

    Re: PVC Material problem

look at a conair deduster-c-750 spec sheet , the concept is pretty simple you can probably retrofit a small dryer to get you by.

    Re: PVC Material problem

I would suggest a DeDuster system.

    Re: minimum mold dimensions

typical rule of thumb, 2/3 coverage of the platen.
  9. Re: Creaking Sound and tool to platen wear, Engel Tie Bar Less.

Not sure about your side to side measurements, but with horizontal witness lines across the middle of the tool I would suspect that the machine is out of level

    Re: Arburg pressure issue

Find the test port and make sure you don't actually have that pressure on the pressure transducer, if you do maybe a stuck valve or a clogged orifice not letting the pressure drain back to the tank....

    Re: Netstal synergy 1200-460

it would be best to look at the transform data tag or take the cover off the motor and see if it is wired for high voltage or low

    Re: Dosing Problem

Maybe try a smaller hopper, on a machine with a 26 mm screw the feed throat is tiny, maybe material is clumping together and not falling due to the tight opening.

    Re: Oil filter

Not familiar with the machine, but the dirty filter signal is typically controlled by a pressure switch on the filter housing on most machines.

    Re: Trueblood 30-ton help needed

Usually when the battery dies on the AB CPU, you will lose the entire PLC program, not only the setup. Also this is likely a retrofit job done by some previous company, just looking at photos on...

    Re: Molding around a bearing

Silly question, If the original part is press fit, then why are you molding over the shield ? shouldn't the tool be designed to seal on the outer race of the bearing because there is no way a thin...

    Re: Screw Speed

As long as the shot builds in time and the part passes quality, the slower the better because in theory it is more energy efficient.

    Re: Nozzel plugging

Sounds like the most common problem with using a hotrunner system and glass filled material. The glass will eventually build up over time and plug the tip. To get something like that back flowing we...

Re: loud noise during mold opening

I highly doubt that is enough surface area to make a loud noise, you can experiment and just underfill the part by 20 %.

Re: Sandretto Series 7 with SEF 90 Control.

    Re: fanuc self lubricating toggles

depending on the style of metering valve, you typically need to let it pump and build pressure in the high pressure lube line and then let it relax to 0psi for it to dump from the metering system...

Re: Van Dorn 230 HT Ejector Speed

do we have hydraulic prints ? I would look at the valve that controls it next, not familiar with VD but there may be a flow control valve in the ejector valve stack.

Is the Ejector Transducer working, make sure it is linear.
  23. Re: Hot-Runner/Mold Cable Configuration Standard

  24. Re: ES-43-A8-0609-C-3A Rexroth Valve Driver Board

I have never worked with the boards before, but we do have a few in our parts room from obsolete machines. Every one of them has broken traces that had been repaired before, probably due to the age...
  25. Re: Intermittent screeching noise during plasticising stage

i bet it is rust between the screw /barrel , just a drop of oil would fix the problem.
