How many of you feel that it is necasary to run purging compounds between resin changes....do you do it, or use the new resin to purge...?

yeah we have to run the mold at 230F and the shot is at 511F. it degrades super fast, has a lot of stability issues, for optics reasons we have to use it but this resin is a pain in the butt

It sounds like you may need more venting or may need to open up the vents. Obviously you can never have enough venting
