    Rick, we will be polishing the tool that makes the core so the TPE will not come in contact with the polished tool steel at all. However it will come into contact with the PC core (first shot).

    I wonder if the air bubbles could be from the wood? I would imagine if it wasn't dried along with the resin it could hold a ton of moisture in it. Are you drying the wood chips also?

    Nitrogen Sealing

    Does anyone have any experience using nitrogen to seal feed throats. I have been tossing the idea around to help slow degradation in the barrel. Any tips would be appreciated.
