Chen Hsong Injection Molding Machines

Hi All,

Our company bought 6 new machines Chen Hsong 120, 180 & 560 all with CE mark this year. But all machines were supplied without Mechanical Safety Device. We asked Chen Hsong why? The reply was: that's ok under European standard EN201:2009 for CE mark approval.
We are wandering if anyone has got the same problem with Chen Hsong IMMs?
Please share your experience.
And what’s your thoughts of Chen Hsong and this situation about Mechanical safety devices?

Hi,

You mean mechanical lock against the tool moovement when basic safety circuit is locked (front door open signal, for example)?

Is it really so, You don´t need that at the machine to get CE.
The worst would be if its there already installed and You will take it out from some reasons. Thats against legal regulations. Definitelly You would lost waranty and take all responsibility if anything happend.

Thanks for comment. Yes, correct, we've meant the mechanical lock against the tool moovement. Please see attached photo for reference.
