Injection Profile Engel Emotion 310

Hello,

We are setting up to do some process development on a tool. We have not been to able to figure out why our injection pressure is peaking around the same position during injection regardless of injection speed. Injection Pressure Limit is set to machine max (29000)

ABS
Melt Temp: 440
Hot Runner: 460
Melt Delivery: Hot Tip

We are wondering if it could be a setting on the injection page that might be causing issues or possibly if the hot tips need to be "warmer" so we don't generate as much pressure trying to inject. No idea to be honest but we will be continuing to adjust settings and send any updates.

Did you do fill study?
How much part is filled in point when preassure goes up?

What are yours speed profies? Do you have one or more injection speeds?

Have you looked at the Microplast graph and seen exactly where the peak pressure ocurrs? You could be hitting the end of the cavity or the pressure peaks there due to the melt temperature being too low which causes the press to raise the pressure to maintain the the injection speed. What is the peak pressure? Is increased injection pressure On? If so, the press dumps off the other side of the injection cylinder instead of using it in a regerative mode which lowers max injection rate. How much of the press shot size are you using? Is the resin a UV or FR grade resin?
