We are in the process of procuring new PVC injection molding machines and we have to test the machines at the machine manufacturers side. Does anyone suggest what are the important points should consider while testing machines. Some of the scope includes

fill time consistency
shot size consistency
transfer time consistency
load sensitivity test
pump motor vibrations/abnormal sound
hydraulic leaks

Does anyone can help with a format/template for machine evaluation form.... Thanks in advance

Looks like you've got the main ones...... RJG has a tryout/performance list, I can't remember if it has anything you don't, but it would be worth a look.

Stating the obvious, but – check and double check all safety features.

Watch the barrel heats to see how far they fluctuate.

Do a fill linearity study: Make shots at a range of speeds from maximum to very slow. Record actual fill time. Graph fill time versus speed setting. It should give you a dead straight line. If the line falls off at the top end, the machine is not producing the speed it claims it is.
