Engel cc300 question

Hello all,

My company has just purchased a new Engel machine and it has the cc300 control panel.

My question: I want to set the machine to have no back pressure when in manual. This option can be found in the variable monitor page, but when I activate it, I get no option under the plasticizing page for manual back pressure as I should.

I'm hoping someone with some knowledge can tell me why this option doesn't appear on the plasticizing page. Is there something I am missing once I activate it?

Ok you don't need to do that. I think if you leave the parameters alone and just press the SIT deadman button when the auto-recover runs, there will be no back pressure.

I Agree with Rick,
We've been using the Deadman buttons for years when building a shot and purging. on both our CC200 and CC300 controllers.
