Hello Everyone,

I am an Industrial Designer in need of some material selection help. The company I work for has a product which is a minnow container. www.youtube.com/watch?v=hLVMQcoz_vw

Currently it has been produced using stock parts found out on the market. We are doing a redesign for the client and I have been asked to call out materials. This is where I need help.

In the end there will be new tooling created for the revised design and there has been slight changes such as the dimensions and the lids. It now has a rubber connector that keeps the lid attached to the main body similar to a water bottle. I have attached a few pictures of the new design

There is a total of 6 parts (9 really because there are 2 lids, 2 lid seals and 2 rubber connectors)
1-Basket
1-Foam insert that makes basket float
2-Rubber connectors
2-Lids
2-Lids seals to make water tight
1-Main body

Thank You,
Jason

High Density Polyethylene for the first 2 or polypropylene and a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) for the seals.
