Hi, having a problem with Arburg 420V 1000-350. Machine was powered off and will not inject now. Mould closes, carriage comes in, nozzle is in location. But when machine switches to injection we get time out alarm. Have checked plugs for 24v and that solenoids energise, all ok. Neither injection unit will inject. Can purge in manual on both injection units. Any ideas? Thanks

MAX. t309 injection time exceeded, s305 not reached
have tried each injection unit on its own, same result. machine will dry cycle with both inj units off.

What is your set cutoff point and actual cutoff point achieved?

T309 is your inj. time, s305 is your switch over point. check to make sure you have a long enough inj. time and as Brent stated, that you reach the switch over position

I countered same problem one year ago. My friend please check your oil filter whether it is clean or dirty. The other option is check either some particle e.g chip is blocked in the hydraulic oil storage nozzle from where oil is supplied to hydraulic pipes.

What is your clamp pressure or tonnage at clamp fully locked up. Injection will not happen until this is achieved.

Hi,

Check is switch ower volume higher than actual volume. It happnend few times that operators put wrong value there. Also can be problem with gate, especialy if you have hot runner system. Sometimes can simply help that you increase inj. time in program.

Hi to everyone. I am not able to save the program to floppy diskette on the Arburg 270M 400 90 (manufactured in 1997). It says the floppy is not formatted - but it is. Does anyone know how to do it? Thank you!

probably a bad floppy or drive, there is a format button on the diskette directory
