What's the best small machine to get started making small products the 6x6 inch type

What would be the best and cheapest machine for me to get started? I'm new to this and I have seen some desk top ones but I don't know anything about them.

I think You should start with Your hands. Thats the most powerfull machine and cheapes of course, that i know!
