We are seeing a major difference in pressures when running a mold in a 500 ton Toshiba machine versus a 720 ton Toshiba machine. What we are seeing is an 800 psi delta difference between Post Gate and EOC at transfer in the 720 ton machine compared to less than 100 psi delta in the 500 ton.
Any thoughts?

Have you molded samples of fill-only (no pack/hold pressure) parts in both machines to confirm that you are transferring with the same percentage of a full part?

What about screw sizes and response of the hydraulics between the two machines?
