Anyone have any experience or input on using anti static blowers above the mold in an injection molding press?

Greetings;

Yes, what is you purpose for doing so?

We are looking to reduce contamination and static in the molding area to keep the a-side mold block cleaner.

Greetings;

OK they do work for that to a point, the big blower units take up space so look at the static bars used with compressed air, should work.

Air knives also work well providing you have clean compressed air. Plus they are efficient. Also I would make sure the press and resin lines are grounded as well that help static from building and attracting things from the plant air.
I did some back molding and due to contaminants from the die cutting process, I purchased air knives from Molders Choice and after picking up the textile on the EOAT, we activated the knives to clean the A-surface.

Greetings;

If you are looking to reduce the amount of static use anti-static bars/ air knives, blowing just compressed air will induce a static charge onto the mold surfaces.
