Hello All,
Doing a survey and so all I want is a YES or NO. In a separate thread I will discuss this matter. Sorry to be so direct, but a simple Yes and No is what I need.
Question: For optimizing the holding time in cold runner molds there is a standardized procedure of performing a part weight versus holding time graph. Have you heard of a standard procedure for optimizing holding time for hot runner molds. Yes? No?
Thanks,
Suhas

Simple 3 letters won't work due to a minimum required.

This a subject that I just encountered Friday. I was sampling a 4 cavity hot runner mold and did a complete rheology study on.
I added 1 extra second on valve gate timer to insure that gates stayed open throughout hold pressure study.
How do others typically approach rheology study on hot tip mold?
