We are reorganizing our plant and one of the areas being looked at is the storage of our resin colorant. This is supplied in cartons holding 25kg each. We have roughly 75 different colors on hand and it is difficult when we do inventory since each box must be pulled from the racks and weighed. I was thinking that clear bins that dispense from the bottom might work better, similar to what you would see in a bulk food store. The weights could be marked on the side of the container making for a quick count during inventory. There are companies that will make custom bins out of acrylic sheet, but I was hoping that there might be something already commercially available - although I have not been able to find any. I've attached a picture of some bins that are being used in one of our facilities, although they are very old and there are no records of where they were sourced.
