Hi,

I want to make a mold of my foot. The mold will be the actual final product and won't be used for molding. It will be split in 2 and open in the middle to show the carving of my foot. I was wondering what type of material I could use. I was thinking of making the first mold out of clay of my foot, then using that mold to make silicone foot, then using that foot to make my 2 final mold product of the half of my foot. I'm not sure what kind of material to use though that would be very rigid and work with a silicone foot. Something like cement (thought that might be too heavy) or hard plastic or one of these rubbery material that's very rigid would be perfect.

Do you guys have any ideas?

Hello Frenchboy,
I am not sure you will get your answers here since this forum is full of Injection Molding people. I think what you will need is going to be casting. Not sure if I can give you any advice there since it is out of my area of expertise.
