How do the principles of scientific molding apply to the useof blowing agents? Certainly the 95% fill rule goes out the window. Are therejust new parameters or is it a complete new study?

I think all the rules of SM go out of the window here! Typically I have always just looked for a good cell structure. I guess one could only still look for cavity balances, pressure drops and do a cooling study.

This is a good one. I wonder how a rheology curve would look like with a blowing agent? The blow does not happen till it leaves the barrel and so technically, it should look the same (?)
Yes, the rest of the steps - will give this a thought. :)

I think there is much more to S.M. than 95%. Is is not a methodology?

Keep on Molding (in a scientific way)!

You bet there is more than the 95% ! I have written about this in detail so many times. i will post a link soon.

I would say you to get the training on injection molding to accomplish your task in a nice way.
