Does anyone know how cold the water supplying a trap needs to be? Also, how much air flow is needed to effectively draw out some of the plastisizer of a Cellulose Acetate. Right now the plastisizer is leaking out of the bottom of the dryer and there is none in the trap

I've just used straight chiller water in a trap; and all the traps I've ever used were home made!? 35 gallon steel drum with inlet tube at the bottom with a end to cause the air to swirl around the inside back towards the top of the drum. Then a long coil of copper tube inside for the water to flow through.

How cold would you be running that chiller?

I think our plant water was like 65*F or so. We couldn't run any colder due to mold sweat.
