Milacron vt 110 - waiting for link fault

Failure - when starting up , it boots up and says waiting for link

Prior - machine was running was shut down . Next time we fired it back up. We got this alarm .

Tried - replaced power supply, inspected cards to see if I can see any visible shorts or burns.

Still in the same scanerio

On the card that has the reset key on it. It says
Vld power - on
Pgm run - off
Io fail - off
Out dis - on
Scan fail - on

Any suggestions on what I should try next?!

First, make sure to check the voltage on the motherboard test points and adjust the power supply. The boards don't like when the voltage is low.

I have only seen this error on a DVD/VEL controller when the board lost it's program. I don't recall what leds was on lit. Before you reload the program, contact Milacron tech support for their opinion.

ijcan223 is right, your going to need to reload the program. The battery backup maybe low or dead and needs to be replaced prior to loading the program. At the very least check the voltage on the back up battery.
