Hello All,
I just wanted to perform a PSA for the group. If you EVER wake up or develop a dark spot in one eye, call or go sit in the waiting room of your Optometrist! I had one in my right eye that ended up being 97% of my visual field on the Saturday after I noticed iron Monday morning! Turned out to be a detached retina and this past Wednesday I had eye surgery!
So be careful and take care of your eyes!

All the best with recovery, as it looks quite serious.
At first I thought you´re describing some accident during purging. PSA...than I´ve looked what is PSA:

PSA
abbr.
1. prostate-specific antigen

then I red it to the end and understand...that its EYE problem and PSA is " Public service announcement" :)

FYI
retina (ˈrɛtɪnə)
n, pl -nas or -nae (-ˌniː)
(Anatomy) the light-sensitive membrane forming the inner lining of the posterior wall of the eyeball, composed largely of a specialized terminal expansion of the optic nerve. Images focused here by the lens of the eye are transmitted to the brain as nerve impulses

Hello Rick
Hoppe you can recover your health soon
now with the pandemic many things change, we pass more time in front of a computer, sleep less, eat more, etc... eating food with chemicals, etc..
hope you get well soon
