I need to understand the calculation method for the clamping force needed depending on the part dimensions, cavity, and machine pressure injection.

Here is what I have:

1.- See the part dimensions attached.
note: dimensions in inches
Part weight: 46 grs.

2.- The number of cavities is 4
3.- The machine pressure injection is 213 Mpa.
4.- The part material is Nylon 6/6

Is this data enough to calculate the CF?

I am trying to enclosed a picture, but I do not have the access. Sorry. clamping load =specific. clamping force* project all areas( all parts and runner).

I'll generally use 3 - 5 tons per square inch of molded plastic at parting line
Slightly higher if slides are used
Ultimately the molded part itself will tell you where tonnage should be - ie run a little faster injection speed/holding pressure as a 'worst case scenario' and just keep coming down on tonnage until you start to see little flash in areas
