Hi All,
I have a 85t Van Dorn I got cheap. Someone put a MACO 4000 control on it and the
buttons are VERY intermittent about working. We've looked it over and checked a million things.
A maint guy said it might be a clogged filter causing the solenoids to just not function but we might have power at the solenoids.
I need to get a meter on them and have some one push the button to narrow it down. (and I'm sure I need to change the filter anyhow)
I'm kinda a one man deal so I'll have to get someone to help me....can't be in both places
at the same time to push the buttons and read the meter.
My question is, has anyone seen this happen before?

Thanks in advance,
Brian

What"Buttons"?

Can't find someone capable of pushing a button? Hire a temp or student for a day or get the IT guy to "push a button"!

I can share your pain. We call the Van Dorn buttons "punch buttons" because we usually have to hit them really hard to get them to register. Wish I could help, we have change controllers with little luck. My advice, buy Arburgs or RoboShots.
